Bulk Payments streamlines your operations by allowing you to process multiple transactions simultaneously through a single, consolidated workflow. Instead of navigating the platform to initiate transfers one-by-one, you can easily set up and submit an entire batch of payments from a single screen. You can also use this feature to collect ACH payments, but it requires prior authorization by Grasshopper.
Getting Started
Two Ways to Pay
When setting up a bulk payment, you have two convenient options depending on your workflow:
- Use a Template: Reduce errors and save time on recurring runs by pre-filling details from a pre-configured template.
- Create from Scratch: Manually enter payment details for a one-time transfer.
Create From Scratch
Creating a bulk payment from scratch is ideal for one-off or unique batches. You can easily enter payees, amounts, and account details directly into the interface, giving you full flexibility to customize your run without needing a saved template.
- Login to Online Banking
- Select Transfer & Pay in the sidebar
- You can also select Bulk Payments in the Transfer & Pay drop-down menu to bypass step 3.
- Click Bulk Payments
- Click Create from scratch
- Click Next
- Enter the payment details
- Payment title
- Account number

- PPD: PPD stands for Prearranged Payment and Deposit and is used for ACH transactions involving individuals or personal bank accounts.

⚠️ Important Note: When scheduling a bulk payment for a future date, please keep in mind that transaction limits apply on the scheduled execution date, not on the day you set up the payment.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
1. Can I include large amounts of remittance data with a CCD payment?
No, if you are including large amounts of remittance data, that would require a Corporate Trade Exchange (CTX) payment, which is not currently supported on the platform.
2. How will bulk payments appear on my bank statement?
You can customize how your payments are displayed by clicking the Edit button below the Bulk Payments header. By default, Individual Payments are selected, which means each payment will appear on your statement as a separate line item with its own transaction amount. Alternatively, you can choose a Combined Summary to group all payments for that period into a single total amount for each day on your statement.
3. If I schedule a bulk payment for the future, when do my transaction limits apply?
When scheduling a bulk payment for a future date, your transaction limits apply at the time of the origination date, not at the time you initially schedule the transfer. You can always click “View Limits and Disclosures” to see your real-time ACH limits.
