Getting Started
Two Ways to Pay
Depending on payment frequency, you have two convenient options for initating a wire:
- One-Time Transfer: Enter the recipient and transaction details manually or select a pre-saved recipient from your saved recipients.
- Template-Based Transfer: Initiate a transfer from a pre-configured template that automatically populates both the recipient's banking information and recurring transaction parameters.
Saved Recipients vs. Wire Templates
| Feature | Saved Recipient | Wire Template |
|---|---|---|
| What it stores | Recipient contact and banking details (legal name, address, routing number / SWIFT, account number). | Recipient details plus transaction parameters (funding account, default payment amount, and transfer reason). |
| Ideal use case | Vendors or partners you pay irregularly or with variable amounts and memo instructions. | Regular, predictable payments where the sending account and transaction purpose stay consistent. |
| Flexibility | You select the funding account and enter the transfer amount each time. | Speeds up execution by pre-filling both recipient and payment fields in one click. |
Before You Send
- Sufficient Available Funds: Wires draw from your available balance immediately upon approval.
- Dual Approval: If your organization enforces dual control, the wire will remain in a pending status until a secondary authorized user reviews and approves it.
- Cut-Off Times: Ensure submissions and required secondary approvals occur before the daily cut-off to qualify for same-day processing.
