At Grasshopper, as an admin, you can create new users to provide them with access to online banking and the ability transact on behalf of the company. You can also establish company approval settings, such as Dual Control, limits and other transaction thresholds.
Dual Control
Dual Control protects your account(s) by requiring two individuals to authorize every transaction. At Grasshopper, companies are automatically placed in Dual Control, requiring transactions to be initiated and approved by separate users. Automated alerts are also sent out to any approved users, which includes information about the transaction pending approval. This makes it much more difficult for fraudsters to send a transaction out of an account on their own.
Roles & Permissions
Once you create a new user, the user will need to authenticate by SMS/voice code with the phone number provided prior to logging in for the first time. As an admin, you will be able to assign to control the level of access a user has in online banking. Each role comes with a set of permissions that can be granted at the account level for each service offered. You may also customize each user's approval limit as needed, however, limits cannot exceed the default company limits. As their access needs change, you can update their role, or create a new role with tailored access.
To create new users and establish company approval settings, follow the steps in the guide provided below.
